Nanofix Green is an eco-friendly leather chemical developed by Rock Chemie as a direct replacement for industrial-grade Formic Acid 85% used in leather manufacturing. Designed for modern tanneries, this advanced acid substitute delivers the same pH adjustment performance while improving workplace safety, leather quality, and environmental sustainability.
Suitable for all types of leather, Nanofix Green can be introduced into existing formulations without modifying production processes or equipment. Its low-emission, formaldehyde-free, ZDHC-certified composition makes it an ideal formic acid alternative for manufacturers seeking safer and more sustainable leather processing chemicals.
Traditional formic acid is widely used in tanning and retanning operations, but it often creates strong fumes, unpleasant odors, handling risks, and environmental concerns. Nanofix Green overcomes these challenges while maintaining excellent tanning performance — giving tanneries a straightforward, drop-in upgrade rather than a process overhaul.

Nanofix Green is recommended for:
Nanofix Green is used in the same way as Formic Acid 85%: prepare a 10% solution by mixing the product with water at a ratio of 1:10. Like other tannery acids, dilution is exothermic and generates heat, and no formulation changes are required. Store in tightly sealed containers between 5°C and 25°C, away from freezing, direct sunlight, and excessive heat, and refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS/MSDS) before use.
